Strawberry-Filled Jello Shots
Description
A step up from your average jello shot.
Ingredients
- 26 large strawberries
- 3 oz strawberry flavored gelatin (1 pack)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup vodka (or liquor of choice, or water)
Instructions
- Wash and cut the strawberries
Cut the top of the strawberry by laying it on its side and making a straight cut. Then, cut a small piece off the bottom so it can stand up straight. Be sure not to cut too much off so you don't make a hole.
- Scoop the inside of each strawberry with a 1/4 tsp measuring spoon
Make sure not to scoop out too much to avoid making the walls too thin. This could create a hole.
- Place a sheet of wax paper on a baking sheet
- Line the strawberries on the baking sheet
- Boil 1 cup of water
- Add 3 ounces of strawberry-flavored gelatin to a small bowl
- Pour the cup of boiling water into the gelatin and stir for about 2 minutes
- Add 1 cup of vodka (or water) to the gelatin mixture
- Pour the gelatin mixture into each strawberry
- Place the baking sheet with the strawberries in the fridge for 4 hours
- Add your garnish of choice and enjoy!
